Below there are three basic types of Modern Glass Fencing Zeus Fencing Systems offers.
The first and most affordable being Spahgetti Semi-Frameless, this is then updated & improved upon
by the APOLLO™ system and finally you have Various Frameless Glass at the pinnacle of available glass systems.

APOLLO™ Glass Fencing System

After the success of Zeus Fencings modular semi frameless system utilising the spaghetti design, we began to consider the next step to rectify some design issues and aesthetic concerns common to all spaghetti semi-frameless systems of glass fencing .

The 10 major issues being-

1- No Interlocking between panels and post as spaghetti system only has a hand pressed rubber insert retaining glass panels in place.
2- Gate size limitations due to non interlocking of panels
3- Glazing rubber hardening when subjected to environmental conditions
4- Limited adjustability due to restrictions on the amount of glass kept in post to retain strict safety requirements.
5- Increasing rigidity for a safer and more aesthetically pleasing feel.
6- Reducing component count to reduce sourcing issues while increase quality of finished product.
7- Decrease the variance of possible installation quality.
8- Allow DIY installations to be completed to a professional level, with none of the pitfalls associated with Spaghetti semi frameless systems.
9- Remove issues of glass sliding in Glazing rubber & possibility of Glass being installed to close to post extremity.
10- Reduce the requirement of needing various different extrusions on the same job. This was important to us as spaghetti semi frameless requires 7 different post extrusions (start ,corner etc) if we ship a corner post when an inline post was required installation could not be completed leading to delays and cost increases along with reduced customer satisfaction.

At the end of 2008 Zeus Fencing an international manufacturer and wholesale supplier of fencing systems and components, brought to market their Apollo system that had just completed 3 years of design and testing .This system not only solves all the above technical issues, it also means the complete system comes from one of the worlds leading manufacturers of glass systems, unlike our competitors where in most cases each component is purchased separately from the cheapest producer on a mix and match basis. Zeus Fencing Systems produces these leading edge integrated systems from factories in the EUROPEAN UNION, USA/CANADA, South America, China / India, AUSTRALIA, Japan and Asia (Certification Testing Completed in Capitalized countries), ensuring quality and production controls in whatever region their products are sold. An Example of this in the Apollo system would be

-Post Cap & Dress ring manufactured in China for Low cost while not affecting overall safety of system.

-Post itself manufactured in Australia as quality and Compliance with design specification is very important to product safety of finished components.

-All products are resubmitted for testing in their country of Sale (Australia) even if testing already completed in South America or Asia to ensure quality and conformance while giving the customer the knowledge that the certificate supplied is not False or corruptly obtained in another country.

This along with the large economies of scale an international company brings (an example being minimum order for Glass Locking Clamps is 15000 pieces) is why this system can now be cost competitive with Spaghetti semi-frameless even after all the Extra Testing , Engineering and 10mm Glass panel minimums are factored into the product.

System Consists of a 40mm or 50mm Post (Alloy or Stainless Steel) with Glass panel of minimum 10mm thickness locked to post by Australian Certified Glass Locking Clamp.1 metre wide Gate standard (this is certified hinges upper limits of the weight they can support).

FRAMELESS Glass Fencing

Frameless Glass is considered within the Glazing industry to be the pinnacle of available pool fencing systems. Zeus Fencing offers two systems of Frameless Glass.

1. Frameless Glass on Glazing Spigots.

This is the most common frameless system installed today. System comprises of a Glazing panel ( Icarium only use 12mm or 15mm Panels ) which is then inserted into Glazing spigots providing a clear unobtrusive view. In most cases only 150mm(h) x 55mm(w) of glazing spigot is visible above ground level.

The Elite method of Frameless Glass is where a Specially prepared Glazing Panel of 12mm or 15mm Thickness is inserted into a glazing channel to that is cut into your concrete footings to specific specifications from engineering consultants. This system is the most unobtrusive system and in most customers eyes the most appealing.
Please Keep in mind that the ELITE system has very specific footing and Panel size requirements to remain within Australian Standards .

Semi-Frameless Glass Fencing

Commonly Known as the Spaghetti system

It was a Modular Version of this system that got Icarium Glass started in the Business of Glass Pool Fencing. The System consists of a Alloy Post of 50mm Diameter with a vertical glazing channel insert where upon the Glass (8mm,10mm or on rare occasions 12mm) is inserted and held in place by two pieces of rubber hand pressed in either side.
